Sneak Peeks!

Who doesn't love a sneak peek right??? Well, I have just the thing for you today! I got a bunch of new stamps from the upcoming Ocassions Mini Catalog and the new Sale-A Bration Catalog! Woo Hoo! I can't give details yet, but this will get your mouth watering.

I still have some that I haven't played with yet and they will be coming in another post. I am super excited about Valentines this year because I now have some awesome stuff to work with!! You will notice that one card is made with the Filled With Love stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I broke down and purchased it since I just loved it. It is on a promotion right now as well. Ask me for details or go here to see the promo.

I know that lots of these have the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder used, but I think that is such a versatile folder and I really like it. But, you will spy a new one if you look closely too.
Happy Stamping and Peeking!

December Classes

I just wanted to let you all know that there are 2 more classes before Christmas if you want to have fun and create.
December 8th, Wednesday, at 7:30 we are doing Jolly Holiday DSP cards. Come and create several cards using the Jolly Holiday DSP from the big catalog. I provide all the ideas, embellishments, adhesive, and extras. Cost is $15 and that includes getting to take home the entire stack of paper that is leftover. If you have ever been to one of these classes you know...there is tons leftover to do more at home.

December 15th, Wednesday, at 7:30pm we are creating tags to attach to those neighborhood christmas gifts you need to pass out. We will be using the 2 Tags Die and making 12 different tags that will spice up any gift. Cost is $8 and that covers all supplies.

If you have any questions about the December classes you just need to ask. If you can't make it to the class on Wednesday night we can do a kit in the mail, or a kit to go. There is always the option to make a date for us to get together at my place and do them together as well.

Happy Stamping!

Birthday Cards and Christmas wishes

I had a few birthdays this week. My cute upline, Laura Widdison, had her big 30 this past week (eeks! that means I will be 30 in a few months!). Her husband did the cutest thing for her. He hacked her email and got all her customers and friends to send a card on the same day. She ended up getting over 100 cards in her mailbox on her birthday. It was sooo sweet of Dirk. Extra points go to him for thinking of the idea and then implementing it perfectly. This is the card that I sent to her.
My brother has a birthday tomorrow and I created this card just for him.

I found out the my NEW brother in law has a birthday next week, so I better get cracking on a card for him too. I will post what I come up with when I come up with it! lol

I completed my own christmas cards and the cards that my brother ordered from me. I have to say, I LOVE the ones that I came up with for him. The Embossed snowflakes with glitter on top was just the right thing for a happy holiday. For mine...I did a great spinner card. The ornament attached spins along the opening with the Merry Christmas in it. It is fun and I think it will be something that my family hasn't seen before.
There is still time to order Christmas cards for yourself. I can put a kit together for you to assemble them yourself, or I can do it for you. You friends and family would be delighted to open a handmade card from you!

Happy Stamping!

Starter Kit full of goodies for 50% off!

It is time for one Amazing steal of a deal!

So what does this all mean to you??

For the first time in Stampin' Up! history, you can buy the Stater Kit at 50% off!

Does this mean that I have to become a Demonstrator?
Yes. By purchasing the starter kit you are automatically enrolled in the great benenfits of a demonstrator

So I will have to start selling products and recruiting people?
No! What you do when you become a demonstrator is completely up to you. If you want a business this is the best time to get started. If you are not looking for a business then you get the kit and the benefits, no strings attached, no penalties, no obligations...just a really good deal on fun stuff!

So what's the catch? Why 50%? It seems too good to be true.
It is totally true! There is no catch at all! Stampin' Up! has a goal to add new demonstrators to the Stampin' Up! family this year and this is their final push to achieve that goal. That is it...nothing sneaky, nothing pushy, nothing that is hiding to bite you later.

What if I already have the stamps, ink, and paper in the kit?
That is the best part! You get to customize your kit to fit what you want to do with it. Change the paper out for another color family, different inks, and of course different stamps. Everyone has different tastes and Stampin' Up! knows that. The suggested kit is just that...a suggestion.

I was thinking about starting to do digital stuff. Will this work?
Will it ever! You can choose from the regular starter kit or the digital starter kit which includes My Digital Studio. That is right folks, you can get MDS with stamps, ink, paper, and other good stuff for only $10 more than what MDS usually costs! This is the perfect time to try out digital stuff.

So how do I go about buying the awesome kit for the deal price?
All you have to do is go to my website and click on "Start Your Own Business" on the top right. You will need a password to get the great deal. The deal ends on the 30th...so hurry!

My password = stampinmartha

There are some awesome perks for demonstrators including 20% off anyting you order, a monthly publication full of great ideas, free stuff, fun, and new friends.

I am here to help with anything you need. Please call me, email me, or do whatever you can to contact me about the promo. I will answer any questions you have. I know there are a ton going through your head.

And remember...at this price this would make an awesome Christmas present for the crafter in your family.

Happy Stamping!

Oooh! New Digital Downloads for Christmas...

Okay, so I thought of something this morning that will save everyone a TON of money this year. Why not create a digital Christmas card and email it out instead of printing and mailing. Not only does this avoid postage costs, but printing costs, supplies costs, and the hassle of having to assemble a million cards! Do it once, do it right, and email it off. So simple to add a photo from you digital camera(that you never print the pictures off of!).

So here are the new Christmas downloads available...get your juices flowing. If you want me to do your digital design let me know and we will work something out. Super affordable I tell you!!!

All you have to do for a download is go to my website and place your order and it is available immediately....no shipping costs! Plus you can use the downloads in lots of programs, including Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio, but also things like Paint.net, Photoshop, Elements, and even MS Word!

Happy downloading!

Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set Class

I want to get the official word out about this awesome Christmas Stamp Class. We will be using the Tags Til Christmas stamp set from the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. Come and make a handful of tags for christmas gifts with no cutting involved (every stamp matches a punch!). Then you get to take the stamps home with you so you can make more any time you want.

Cost of the class is $25 if you want just the stamps....BUT.... Stampin' Up! has an amazing deal going right now that allows me to offer the stamps and a coordinating punch for the class for only $35! The holiday bundles are a great deal and it lets me pass on the savings to you for this class. You can pick from the ornament punch or the decorative label punch in the bundle. When you sign up you need to let me know if you want the bundle discount and which punch you would like.

I will provide all of the punches, paper, ink, and adhesive for the class and you just have to sign up and come. Then you get to take tags, stamps, and even a punch home with you! WOO HOO!!

I will be running my own special that evening or for your prepay on your stamps. If you order ANY punch (doesn't have to match the set) on top of your registration or place an order the night of class you will recieve 10% off the punch. Thats right folks...10% OFF ANY PUNCH that night or with your registration. I am a punch-aholic, so this is a big deal for me.

Class will be Wednesday, the 17th, at 7:30 pm. This class goes really fast since all the cutting is done with easy peasy punches. If you can't make it to class that night, let me know and we can do a kit to go or arrange a time for you to come and do it. I need you to register with me by Saturday, the 13th.

Happy Punching!

Monthly Card Club

Hi Folks! I just wanted to give a shout out to my monthly card club. I have 5 slots filled and we need a minimum of 6! The more we have the better. If you are interested in becoming a member of the club that will start soon let me know asap.

Being in a monthly card club is awesome. You get together once a month with other people that love making things just like you do! I provide the ideas and inspiration and you get to come and make the projects at no extra cost to you.

With there being 6 people in the club you would be required to make a $25 minimum order each month before taxes and shipping (shipping is cheaper in a club). So you get a little splurge for yourself each month, free projects, and the best part is that you get a turn to "host" the club and recieve all the fabulous extra gifts. On your month you will recieve a minimum of $15 in Free merchandise and 1 Free stamp set! Awesome!

So let me know if you want to join the fun! And when I say fun...I really do mean a blast!

Autmn Spice DSP Class

There is still time to get into the Autumn Spice DSP card class. We will be making 5 projects out of the gorgeous paper form the 2010 Holiday Mini called...well, Autumn Spice. The cost of the class is $15 and you get to take home the entire package of the paper and 5 projects too! This is an amazing deal considering the paper itself is $11.95 and I am providing all the ribbon, ink, stamps, and embellishments.
I am just tickled with the cards we are making this month. I am so excited at how they turned out. If you want in the class you have to let me know today or tomorrow (saturday) at the latest. I am putting the order in on Saturday evening for the paper.

The cards are fall themed to match the paper, but work for thanks yous, birthdays, thanksgiving, just because, and thinking of you cards. I love the versatility in them....plus, fall is my favorite time of year so I am in heavenly love with the colors and paper.

I am so glad they are putting more and more out for MDS. It is such a great program and recently found that I can load all my "other" digital scrapbooking stuff into it and have all the user friendliness of the program and still use all my stuff! WOO HOO!!
Here are the new downloads for now. There will be more soon, because there always is! New stuff is always good and gets my juices flowing.
Did you know that these great digtal downloads work in tons and tons or other programs including MS Word? Awesome right?! From Photoshop, Windows Paint, Paint.net, MS Office, to MDS and everything else between. Pick the program you like (though I would recommend the user friendly MDS) and download away! We can come up with a designer that fits your style and budget, all while looking amazing!! Whether you like vintage, modern, cutesie, or classic we can make a card you will be proud of sending instead of the big box special that are so generic and boring.

Give me a call or email and I will work something out for you.

PS. Pricing of cards will vary depending on how much bling you want you cards to have. I have to cover the cost of supplies.

More Halloween Fun!

I got a note form Dillan's preschool last week saying that they were having a Halloween party on the 29th and that each child was asked to bring 36 treats to share with all the other kids/classes at the school. I decided that it was a good opportunity to use the Candy Wrapper Die that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

It uses the regular size cutting pads and a Big Shot. I think it is sooo cute! I have only made 18 of the 36 needed for Friday's party, but that was just one sitting. The creases are done to perfection (especially if you use the crease pad). It is a tad time consuming if you are doing lots of them because you have to bend all the creases in the right direction (it is way easier than it sounds...just takes a bit of time). But look how awesome they turn out! I used the bats from the Wicked Cool halloween stamp set to stamp the outside of the wrapper and I think it turned out great. I didn't want to do too much since 3 and 4 year olds are just going to rip into them to find what is inside. But in Dillan's opinion, "Oooh! They are so pretty!" He is excited to take them to school next week.

Happy Stamping, and Die Cutting!

The last Day of Gratitude Card

So finally finished off the last card for the Day of Gratitude class. If you are still interesting in making the cards and getting the stamp set, just send me an email. Like I said in the last post with the other sample cards from the class...this set is for way more than just "fall" things. I LOVE it!

The idea for the last card came from a blog that I follow. I loved the technique so much and I will do it again in varying colors as well. You ink the stamp in the lighter color (Baja Breeze) and then use a sponge dauber to sponge the darker color over the top of the lighter ink right on the stamp....then stamp it on the paper of course! It looks amazing! Thanks to Connie for this one. She had an awesome brad on hers and I used a pearl since I didn't have a brad handy.

Happy Stamping!

Day of Gratitude Stamp Class

This post is slightly late, the class is this week. But I thought I would show you have versatile this stamp set is. Day of Gratitude is in the current Holiday Mini Catalog and is the quintessential fall stamp set....but....it is so much more!

I did some fall cards for the class, but then made a few samples of other types of cards that could be done with this set that aren't necessarily fall oriented. I am in love with the one done in Marina Mist. It is so elegant, and with a switch of the sentiment on it you could use it for just about anything.
The class is $22 and includes a clear mount Day of Gratitude stamp set. We will be making these 4 cards and one more. There is still time to order your stamp set and we can set up a date to get together to assemble them. You just need to let me know by Saturday the 23rd.

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! is offering some great holiday bundles from the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. These are amazing deals! I will post more about the class later, but I just wanted to give you a heads up on that.
