Elegant Soiree DSP Class

It is DSP class sign up time! Class will be Wednesday, October 6th at 7:30pm. Cost is $15 and that makes 5 cards and you get to take home a pack of the Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper! 5 ideas you don't have to come up with...and the paper to make them...doesn't get better than that!
I will provide all the ink, punches, adhesive, ribbon, and random stuff. You just have to prepay your registration fee by Saturday October 2nd. That is this Saturday people! Get with it!!! Come to class and make the 5 cards and then take the stack of unused DSP home with you. There is so much leftover to make more cards or scrap book with. I love it! There are both girlie and masculine prints in this set, which ius perfect and goes with everything you can think of.

Again, I am only posting 4 of the 5 samples. You have to come to class to see the 5th one. We will be using the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder and the Always Elegant stamp set that goes perfectly with the paper....plus a few more of course.

Send me an e-mail, call me, or text me if you have questions or would like to get a spot in the class. Thanks you guys!

As always, if you would like to participate with a kit by mail...we can do that too. You just have to make sure that you let me know by Saturday the 2nd so I can get your order together for you. And, for those of you who want to come but can't I always do a kit to go. I can make the cards and bring them and the paper to you, or you can arrange a different time to stop by and do it when you can.

Happy Stamping!

The surprise treat to the Wicked Cool Class

Now that all the people that completed the class and finished their projects I thought I would share the surprise treat I told you about in the first post of samples for the class. Please note that the bag of candy inside was overflowing with goodness....until my 3 year old, Dillan, got ahold of it and decided that it looked tasty....because it does!
I love the Fancy Favor Die. It is so freakn' versatile. It can literally be used for any and every event and decorated differently to suit the needs of what is going on. Plus, I think it is fun to fill it with goodies. Halloween after all is all about the candy right??? The paper is Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, and Old Olive. Add a little Black Satin ribbon and wah lah! Halloween goodness!
The following are the other 4 projects that we did during the class. Hope you like them, they are the samples I posted last week. There is still room in my Halloween Scrap class. If you are interested, let me know. I need to know by Saturday morning.
If you want to join us for the next class...comment and let me know! I will get you signed up in a jiffy.

Happy Stamping!

Having some Fun

About once a week the family sits around the TV and watches something "together" in the evening. Dillan scoots around on the floor with cars or trains, Jeremy enjoys the show or the Wii as it sometimes is, and I enjoy just being with my boys and making stuff at the coffee table. Even though we aren't doing the same things it is just nice to be in the same room and enjoying time doing what we love with others around.
These are a couple of cards that I made this past week doing just what I described above. Dillan made his own train track out of the wooden trains, Jeremy played old school metroid on the Wii, and I made cards. We chatted, rearranged the tracks, and made fun of Daddy when he lost a life in his silly game.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I like making them. There is something relaxing about just sitting down and creating something. If you want to join in my relaxation technique...call me, I always love visitors.

They both use Greenhouse Gala DSP (I am still on my first pack after doing loads of cards and projects). The first uses the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set and the second uses the Friends Never Fade Stamp Set. Order online 24/7.

Join a class!

I put up some flyers around town to advertise my Wednesday night classes. I am hoping that it will generate some more business for me....duh. I just want everyone to enjoy what I love so much that how could I not want to share it?

This gives you one night out a month, a week, or every 2 weeks...you decide...to do something that you enjoy and be able to share some joy with others when you give your projects away (at least I give mine away, you can keeps yours if you want :) ).

I also do custom invitations for weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and more. Custom Christmas Cards are in right now....I would be glad to do them for you and all you have to do is sign them, or you can come to my Christmas Card Class and learn to make them yourself. Either way...your friends will be jealous at how cute they are! Since we are getting to the season, I also do custom christmas tags and gift tags. I like the presents under my tree in uniform colors and this makes it possible to add tags to the gifts to match too. Plus you always need tags for those neighbor gifts. I have some great ideas for those!

Call me or send me an email to let me know what class you want to come to. Can't wait for you to join in the fun!

Stamp to the Max Team Meeting

Yeah! I just have to tell you guys how much fun I had at my team meeting. It is monthly get together for those in the downline of Maxine Conrad. She is awesome...and my upline, Laura Widdison is awesome! I just love those girls. I don't always get to make it to the meeting since it is an 1.5 hour drive for me, but I LOVE it when I do.

I always come away feeling so uplifted, rejuveinated, and ready to go at the world again. I don't know what I would do without those girls.

Here is a card, just one of several, we made at our meeting. I had never done a spinner card before and boy was it fun. The ornament on the front twirls along the path of the punch out window from side to side. Isn't that super cute!?! I am going to do this in my Christmas Card class in November...so stay tuned for that.

The other cards that we made are Christmas Tags. Max gave us a great idea for a class to hold using the stamp set Tags Til Christmas in the new 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. Every stamp matches a punch and I do love me some punches! I will post a picture when the class gets closer so that I don't spoil the surprise. he he he

If you would like to join me at one of these meetings, let me know. I am happy to do the driving...no strings attached. If you just want to see the fun we have when we are together you are more than welcome. Let me know if you want to join the team as well, because this could be you having all these great ideas given to you by amazing women!

Tote-ally Awesome Freebie!!

I wanted to share this awesome FREEBIE with you guys since I paid $40 plus shipping for mine... Stampin' Up! is giving away this tote-ally awesome tote inspired by the beautiful Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. I LOVE mine! Click the link to see a video that gives you a great idea of what it can do for you.

It fits 12x12 cardstock, has spots for punches, ink pads, stamps, will fit your paper trimmer, and all the stuff you could ever want in it! I was completely surprised at how much I got in mine. The other cool thing that I really, really like is that it has a shoulder strap. Not many out there do and this one is super comfortable on your shoulder. I am a definite shoulder strap person. I don't even buy a purse unless I can cross the strap over my shoulder across my body. Silly, I know, but a huge selling feature.

You would spend over $50 for something like this in the stores so the fact that I purchased for less than what a craft store offers a plain black or brown one is still great...but what is better than FREE?!?!

All you have to do is join my team and become a member of the Stampin' Up! family between NOW and October 18th. You will not only get over $300 worth of fabulous amazing merchandise in your starter kit, but then you get a 20% discount on everything you buy on top of it! There are 2 starter kits to choose from, the regular one with lots of paper, stamps, and embellishments...or the Digital one with still lots of paper, stamps, and embellishments, but with the My Digital Studio Software (which is awesome by the way)! For only $175 you get over $350 worth of products and FREE SHIPPING!

Let me know if you have questions about joining my team today. The offer won't last long and the Totes won't either....so HURRY! Love you guys.

Thank You for a Friend

I had a fellow deomonstrator post on our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website that she needed help. All she needed was some people to send her some thank you cards for her brother. Long story short, he brother is dying of cancer and there is no further hope of recovery. They anticipate him leaving his Earthly life within a month. Her family, brother included, are writing thank you notes for all those who have helped the family out in the last while. How could you not send a few along to help out?? She did a bunch herself, but now she just wants to spend time with her family and her brother before he goes...leaving no time or energy to make thank you cards. Here are a couple that I made a dozen of and will send off in the mail to her tomorrow.

I hope that you guys like them....more importantly, I hope that she likes them and they serve the purpose intended. Giving back is something that I am trying to work on right now. I feel like the more I give, even though it is hard right now, the more in return I will recieve down the road when I really need it. Such a simple gesture on my part is certainly more than simple to this family.
