Create Your Own Stencil

I have been doing a lot of work with My Digital Studio and my e-cutter.  This video will give you a couple of cute ideas you can do with both of them.  The home décor plate below is one that I made for Valentine's Day as well.  It is SO easy!  I love MDS and my e-cutter.

Stamp to the Max February Blog Hop

Love is in the air!  Welcome to the February blog hop.  This month it is all about LOVE.  Love via Valentine's Day, anniversaries, weddings, and more.  I have tons of ideas for love themed projects and such since the next 4 weeks are full of awesome events for my family.  We have Valentine's Day, my birthday 2 weeks later, and then my wedding anniversary the week after that.  Whew!  That's a lot of love.

So the project I have for you today is one that came to be last week when one of the local home décor stores had a sale on dishes.  I picked up a dozen 12" square dinner plates and a stand for $35 total!  Then using the ever amazing My Digital Studio software created a cute saying to go on the plate in vinyl.  My husband gave me a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas and I love pairing it with MDS.  I can create anything I want and the machine cuts it for me...genius I tell you.

One of our songs from when we were dating and first married is the saying on the plate for February.  It makes us giggle like little kids when we hear it.  I don't really know how it came to be one of our songs, but it is so it was the perfect thing to put on the plate for the month of love.

The first picture is the creation I made in My Digital Studio and the second picture is the final product.  You can see that I changed the color in the final product because I didn't have gray and red vinyl.  I had black and pink.  But I think it turned out cute anyway.

You can always get a free 30 day trial of MDS from my website.  Then if you like it, it is a crazy low price of $19.95 and includes a ton of downloads with it.  I always look forward to Tuesdays since that is when Stampin' Up! releases the new digital downloads each week.  Don't forget to  check it out next Tuesday.
Now hop along and get some more ideas for your month of love from the others.  You will not be disappointed.

January Stamp to the Max Blog Hop

Its a new year and a new begining.  One of my goals this year was to do some scrapbooking for my son.  We only have one....so it couldn't be that bad right?  LOL!

The best way to get started and going is with My Digital Studio.  You can't beat the prices of the awesome coordinated downloads and the ease of the new program.  I've got MDS2+ and I highly recommend it.  All the new features in this release are awesome.  I am still learning, but with all the training forums and videos to help out it is a snap!

If you are a beginner, you can start with a premade layout and just drag and drop a picture and add a little bit of text.  If you want to get more creative you can start with a layout, like I have today, and add to it some extras and such.  Or like the second one I did, you can start with a layout and then remove some things.  I have a boy, so flowers don't work well most of the time.  I removed the template flowers and added some text.

The layouts you see are from the new content disc called Lemonade Stand, available in the Sale-a-bration catalog that will start in just a few short weeks!  Can you believe that?  It has some fun stuff in it and I really like the honeycomb look to this set.  Best part is that is coordinates with the new honeycomb embossing folder as well.  So, you can do some hybrid scrapping too.  :)

Happy hopping along to see some of the awesome new products coming up.  The Spring Catalog is available to order right now and the Sale-a-bration one will be available to earn you free products from starting January 22nd.  Woo Hoo!

Stamp to the Max Blog Hop

Welcome to my little skip, hop, and jump of our team blog hop.  You have probably seen all the great projects before me...if you haven't, you should go check them out because they are great!

Have you ever told yourself, "I can't scrapbook.  I don't have time or the creativity to do it."  I have just the answer for you.  My Digital Studio makes scrapbooking so easy.  The page I have here for you today literally took minutes.  The hardest part was finding the pictures to put in.  MDS2+ gives you so many options that are included, but with the 50% Digital Kits special going on right now...it is too easy!  I used the Be of Good Cheer Digital Kit (item #130970) which is only $3.98 right now.  It comes with lots of paper, embellishments, stamps, and this great template page.

You can start with a template (a predone scrapbook page, just add pictures) like I did or you can create your own.  I added a little bit to the template page because I thought it was slightly plain for my liking.

We have also lowered our professional print pricing...permanently! So printing is even cheaper and easier now.  So, think about making a book for a family member.  They will think you spent hours, but all you have to do is drag and drop the pictures in place.  :)  It will be our little secret.  Shhhh!

Now, hop along to the next team member and enjoy the show!  Don't forget to order any MDS Digital Kits at 50% off right now in my online store.  They are only discounted for the week...so hurry.  And don't forget to download your FREE MDS downloads to celebrate Digital Scrapbooking day (a week long event for us). Don't have MDS2 yet?  Try the FREE 30 day trial while you are at it.

My Birthday...

IF YOU ARE A DEMONSTRATOR AND WANT TO BE SURPRISED WITH YOUR STAMPIN' UP! BDAY CARD>>> PLEASE STOP HERE!!!

I "work" for a great company. Stampin' Up! made a new tradition this year for celebrating their demonstrator's birthdays. I am still trying to figure out why it took them 20+ years to come up with the idea though. LOL

Starting this year, they are sending a personal birthday card to each and every demo in the month of their birthday. I got mine a few weeks ago and I am going to share it with you today...since today is my birthday after all!

The card is simple, yet makes me so happy. It is made using My Digital Studio and printed off. ONE simple rhinestone adds so much to it. It just goes to show you that simple is awesome and it doesn't cost much.

The inside of the card has Real Red Polka Dot DSP on the top and a note for me on the bottom. I am not going to show you the inside since it has a special birthday present for me inside. If you want to know what the special gift is.... sign up to be a demo! :) Believe me, it is worth it for the relationships, fun, crafting, money, and don't forget the awesome products!

The starter kit right now is an awesome deal. I signed up during Sale-a-bration last year and this is by far the best deal you will get, so don't wait. F04 just under $150 you get over $360 in great products to use. Do it for a business, or do it for fun as a hobby...either way you won't regret it. Ask me how today...the deal doesn't last long!

Happy Stamping!

Starter Kit full of goodies for 50% off!

It is time for one Amazing steal of a deal!

So what does this all mean to you??

For the first time in Stampin' Up! history, you can buy the Stater Kit at 50% off!

Does this mean that I have to become a Demonstrator?

Yes. By purchasing the starter kit you are automatically enrolled in the great benenfits of a demonstrator

So I will have to start selling products and recruiting people?

No! What you do when you become a demonstrator is completely up to you. If you want a business this is the best time to get started. If you are not looking for a business then you get the kit and the benefits, no strings attached, no penalties, no obligations...just a really good deal on fun stuff!

So what's the catch? Why 50%? It seems too good to be true.

It is totally true! There is no catch at all! Stampin' Up! has a goal to add new demonstrators to the Stampin' Up! family this year and this is their final push to achieve that goal. That is it...nothing sneaky, nothing pushy, nothing that is hiding to bite you later.

What if I already have the stamps, ink, and paper in the kit?

That is the best part! You get to customize your kit to fit what you want to do with it. Change the paper out for another color family, different inks, and of course different stamps. Everyone has different tastes and Stampin' Up! knows that. The suggested kit is just that...a suggestion.

I was thinking about starting to do digital stuff. Will this work?

Will it ever! You can choose from the regular starter kit or the digital starter kit which includes My Digital Studio. That is right folks, you can get MDS with stamps, ink, paper, and other good stuff for only $10 more than what MDS usually costs! This is the perfect time to try out digital stuff.

So how do I go about buying the awesome kit for the deal price?

All you have to do is go to my website and click on "Start Your Own Business" on the top right. You will need a password to get the great deal. The deal ends on the 30th...so hurry!

My password = stampinmartha

There are some awesome perks for demonstrators including 20% off anyting you order, a monthly publication full of great ideas, free stuff, fun, and new friends.

I am here to help with anything you need. Please call me, email me, or do whatever you can to contact me about the promo. I will answer any questions you have. I know there are a ton going through your head.

And remember...at this price this would make an awesome Christmas present for the crafter in your family.

Happy Stamping!

Oooh! New Digital Downloads for Christmas...

Okay, so I thought of something this morning that will save everyone a TON of money this year. Why not create a digital Christmas card and email it out instead of printing and mailing. Not only does this avoid postage costs, but printing costs, supplies costs, and the hassle of having to assemble a million cards! Do it once, do it right, and email it off. So simple to add a photo from you digital camera(that you never print the pictures off of!).

So here are the new Christmas downloads available...get your juices flowing. If you want me to do your digital design let me know and we will work something out. Super affordable I tell you!!!

All you have to do for a download is go to my website and place your order and it is available immediately....no shipping costs! Plus you can use the downloads in lots of programs, including Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio, but also things like Paint.net, Photoshop, Elements, and even MS Word!

Happy downloading!

Martha

More My Digital Studio downloads...

I am so glad they are putting more and more out for MDS. It is such a great program and recently found that I can load all my "other" digital scrapbooking stuff into it and have all the user friendliness of the program and still use all my stuff! WOO HOO!!

Here are the new downloads for now. There will be more soon, because there always is! New stuff is always good and gets my juices flowing.

Did you know that these great digtal downloads work in tons and tons or other programs including MS Word? Awesome right?! From Photoshop, Windows Paint, Paint.net, MS Office, to MDS and everything else between. Pick the program you like (though I would recommend the user friendly MDS) and download away! Make your own paper

Folks...I know the last thing you are looking for is another My Digital Studio post, but really, it does so much! I have a stamp set that has been on my wish list for months now Baroque Motifs #113490 $27.95

I love this set and it is so versatile depending on what colors you stamp it in. I just haven't had the money to purchase it...but...the digital version is FREE with your purchase of MDS! I broke it out this morning thanks to some inspiration from a fellow stamper. I made my own DSP(Designer Series Paper) using MDS and then just printed it out and used snail to put it on the card front. This is what you call a hybrid card, partly made in MDS, and embellished with actual embellishments.

I used: MDS, digital Baroque Motifs stamp set (in Early Expresso, Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze, and Riding Hood Red), Occasional Quotes Stamp Set, Early Expresso Ink, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Riding Hood Red Card Stock, Baja Breeze Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Snail, and Dimensionals.

Easy Peasy I tell you! I can show you more if you want. Give me a jingle! Visit my website for more fun things and shop 24/7.

As promised...

I told you I would post something I made myself in My Digital Studio. Here it is people! I threw this little card together really quick and it is done with things already preloaded into the software. Nothing in this card cost extra!

So I hope you enjoy the card. It really is easy! Let me know if you want to try your own!

Have a good night!

My Digital Studio Color Update

Did you know that you if you have My Digital Studio (MDS) from Stampin' Up!, or if you want MDS, that you can get all the new updated colors for FREE?!?! Thats right folks....FREE! This is over $50 worth of downloads for the new colors at no cost to you. I updated mine and it is amazing.

Check out the online info for My Digital Studio, but I can of course get you more if you want it.

I am really, really loving the MDS software. I had been using a free version of something similar for my digital scrapbooking and it just doesn't compare to this. It is very user friendly and of course has all the exclusive Stampin' Up! colors, papers, and lots of stamps already built in when you buy the software.

You could purchase all those things seperately and use them in a program of your choice, but when spend the money on that when you can buy the software and get it all included for less than what the downloads would cost individually? Think smart people! I finally did. :)

Plus Stampin' Up! posts regular updates, new downloads, and has tons of support for MDS. You really can't go wrong. If you would like to have your own copy, view my copy at my house, or just want more information give me a call.

As always, you can place your order right online at my shop. You will find My Digital Studio under the Digital Crafting section.

Check out the awesome boxes that I made using MDS! I will of course post more projects using this fabulous software later. I am finally doing a scrapbook of our trip to Disney last October!

If you are interested in getting your own copy of MDS, checking out my copy at my house, or just want more info then let me know!

Thanks for visiting. :)

New My Digital Studio Downloads!

Stampin' Up! just released 5 new punches for the My Digital Studio software. They are great punches and ones that I have in tangible form as well. I especially love the new Owl Punch! The best part is...they are only $0.95 each!

If you don't know what My Digital Studio is...let me tell you...it is fabulous for making all your digital cards, scrapbooks, and crafts for all occasions from Church things to fun things! You can get it on my website or give me a jingle and I will get an order in for you and then help you out with it once you get it. It is super user friendly and all around WONDERFUL!

More later!
