Create Your Own Stencil

I have been doing a lot of work with My Digital Studio and my e-cutter.  This video will give you a couple of cute ideas you can do with both of them.  The home décor plate below is one that I made for Valentine's Day as well.  It is SO easy!  I love MDS and my e-cutter.

Stamp to the Max June Blog Hop

Can you believe the new catalog is already here?  I feel like it snuck up on me.  I am in love with this catalog and the hop will show you some awesome things from it. I have a couple cool things to show you from it.

The first card I have is a card that I made for a swap with some other Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  There was a local get together and it was so fun seeing the different styles and ideas they each were able to come up with.  I used the Work of Art stamp set and the Moonlight DSP stack from the new catalog.  That lovely blue and yellow are two of the new In Colors for this year.  Meet Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey in the sample.  I am loving those new colors.

Check out the new Blendabilities Markers from Stampin' Up!  They are alcohol based and very easy to work with.  They blend nicely and make it so easy to get a watercolor look without the mess and fuss of actually doing watercolor.  The flower you see on the sample is the Rich Razzleberry set.  At $12.95 for a set of 3 markers they are MUCH cheaper than the brand you can get at a local craft store and are in the colors you need to match all your great Stampin' Up! supplies with no guess work.  Available for customer purchasing in August.

Hope you enjoyed my samples from the new catalog.  Enjoy your hop and move along! You can purchase any products you see in my online store 24 hours a day.  Click here to place an order.

Stamp to the Max February Blog Hop

Love is in the air!  Welcome to the February blog hop.  This month it is all about LOVE.  Love via Valentine's Day, anniversaries, weddings, and more.  I have tons of ideas for love themed projects and such since the next 4 weeks are full of awesome events for my family.  We have Valentine's Day, my birthday 2 weeks later, and then my wedding anniversary the week after that.  Whew!  That's a lot of love.

So the project I have for you today is one that came to be last week when one of the local home décor stores had a sale on dishes.  I picked up a dozen 12" square dinner plates and a stand for $35 total!  Then using the ever amazing My Digital Studio software created a cute saying to go on the plate in vinyl.  My husband gave me a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas and I love pairing it with MDS.  I can create anything I want and the machine cuts it for me...genius I tell you.

One of our songs from when we were dating and first married is the saying on the plate for February.  It makes us giggle like little kids when we hear it.  I don't really know how it came to be one of our songs, but it is so it was the perfect thing to put on the plate for the month of love.

The first picture is the creation I made in My Digital Studio and the second picture is the final product.  You can see that I changed the color in the final product because I didn't have gray and red vinyl.  I had black and pink.  But I think it turned out cute anyway.

You can always get a free 30 day trial of MDS from my website.  Then if you like it, it is a crazy low price of $19.95 and includes a ton of downloads with it.  I always look forward to Tuesdays since that is when Stampin' Up! releases the new digital downloads each week.  Don't forget to  check it out next Tuesday.
Now hop along and get some more ideas for your month of love from the others.  You will not be disappointed.

Stamp to the Max January Blog Hop

Happy New Year!  The new year brings new goals, new life, and a new catalog!!!  This hop is dedicated to the new Occasions Catalog.  I am loving the new options and colors for Spring.  You will fall in love as well, so sit back and enjoy some samples from the new line of products available now!

The last few months have been eventful for me to say the least.  After what seemed like forever, I finally had my baby on November 18th!  We found a new home that we decided to build the first of December.  And my oldest boy turned 7 the end of December.  All this around the holidays too!

All of that going on the last 6 weeks means that I was in serious need of some Thank You cards for several occasions.  The cards I am showing you come out of the Simply Sent kit called Good as Gold.  I think it is super cute and very versatile.  I am using these cards for every event I listed above.

They were quick and easy to put together, which is exactly what I need right now with a new baby and my other son home from school on Christmas break.  It comes with 8 polka dot note cards, envelopes, and envelope liners.  Then you get 8 pieces of baker's twine and gold elastic trim.  It comes with everything pre stamped and there are WAY more than 8 banners to put on the cards.  My plan is to use the leftover printed banners for other cards that I will make in the same color scheme.  You can recreate the cuteness without having to do all the prep work that way.

So my son wrote thank yous for his birthday gifts and I did a few for people who brought food for the family gathering celebrating the baby as well.  It was the perfect kit for me and I think it will be the perfect kit for you and any of your friends that need quick and easy cards.

Now hop along to the next lovely blog and enjoy some other options from the new catalog.  Remember you can order off my website at http://marthahaddock.stampinup.net at any time.  Don't forget to check the digital downloads for MDS as well.

Stamp to the Max November Blog Hop

Hello world!  I have been totally absent from pretty much everything lately.  Yep, I am still pregnant...but baby is scheduled for the 18th no matter what.  Plus I was on bed rest for 6 weeks or so and that kind of put me out of the loop of life.  But, things are going well now and frankly, it is time to get this little guy out.  :)

Welcome to this month's blog hop.  I skipped last month for the above mentioned reasons.  You would think one would get lots of crafting done when you aren't allowed to leave the house and what not.  BUT, you would be surprised at how much you really can't do while on bed rest.

I am back at it and have an awesome banner project for the holiday season.  I used the Simply Created Banner Kit from the Holiday Catalog and added on the Christmas Banner Accessory Kit with a little bit of Silver Glimmer Paper and basic cardstock.  I really like how it turned out.

The best part is that you can make it say whatever you want.  Here are some ideas:  Merry, Joy, Snow, Noel, Burrr, etc...  So customize it for your holidays or just winter in general.  The accessories are all included in the add on kit.  The only thing that I added myself was the snowflake cutouts between the letters and lollies.  I used the Festive Flurry framelits and some Glimmer Paper and cardstock in matching colors.

This would make the perfect gift for anyone you know or yourself.  I am choosing to give mine to myself.  :)  Those are the best kinds of gifts right?

Hope you enjoyed the sample and now you get to move along to the next great holiday gift idea in the hop.  You can place orders on my website 24 hours a day.  And make sure you check in with the specials and promotions that are going on there as well.  Thanks!
