Fun Flowers Die

Sorry about being MIA for awhile. I probably should have mentioned before I left, but I went to Thailand for 8 days and was in Salt Lake City for a few days before that with family. But... I am back! I haven't actually created anything today, but I do have a card to share anyway. I have been playing catch up on laundry and cleaning.
I made this card using the Fun Flowers Die for the Big Shot. I LOVE this die. I was hesitant to get it at first, but I am really thinking it is awesome. I used Melon Mambo cardstock for the flower and ran it through the Big Shot and then took each peice of the flower and put them in different embossing folders to create some texture. Top it off with a cute Big Button in Daffodil Delight and whala! Super cute flower perfect for a card.

This is the LAST WEEK for Sale-a-bration, so make sure you get your orders to me no later than the 31st by dinner time or order online until 11:55pm MST at the StampinMartha website store. This is your last week to get free stuff that is exclusive to Sale-a-bration. Those cute stamps and papers are not available in any of the regular catalogs. HURRY!!!

Happy Stamping!

Bring On The Cake!

My sister in laws birthday is coming up the end of this week and since I got new stuff to play with in the mail last week....I made her a cute birthday card. It was done off the idea from the card in the Occasions Mini Catalog, but I changed some things up.

The background paper is from the Sale-a-bration Ice Cream Parlor DSP and I can't get enough of that stuff. It is so much cuter in person! The scallop on the cake platter is from that set as well. I also really like the stamp set I used. Both stamps (along with 11 other stamps) are from the "Bring on the Cake" set from the Occasions Mini. I REALLY REALLY hope that it makes the big catalog, but I couldn't take the chance of not having it so I purchased it now because you never know! If you see something you like in a mini catalog you have to go for it. There isn't time to waste since it is a huge gamble if we will see it again. The gamble wasn't worth it for me to wait. I make way too many birthday cards for my family to pass on a 13 stamp set that is all birthday sayings.

I have made a few of these for my family in the last few weeks and they have been a big hit. The cute candles on the top are from the Create a Cupcake punch and very easy to do.

Buttons

I really like the Valentine Defined set in the Occasions Mini this year. I have found that the "Grass" stamp in that set is pretty versatile. I used it on this card and added some cute Bright Buttons on it to look like flowers.

I used the Brights DSP in Tempting Turquiose and the "Lucky You" phrase is stamped in Real Red using the Afterthoughts hostess set. This set can be yours absolutely FREE by placing a $150 order of hosting a workshop with sales totalling at least $150 (plus you get FREE product on top of the hostess set!). With Sale-a-bration going on that means you would get 3 stamp sets, 1 hostess set, and $15 FREE just by inviting your friends over and combining all your orders. Check with me on available dates ASAP because Sale-a-bration ends the 31st of this month!

au Paris!

Seriously....don't kill me if I did the title wrong. I speak Spanish (and only a little at that!) . But it totally fits with the card I am going to show you today.

Doesn't it just make you want to go to Paris?? I want to go badly! I love the black, white, and red combo. I know you are probably thinking that the background paper looks familiar....it should, it is very similar to the Love Letter DSP. That is where I got the inspiration. Though I used Whisper White instead of Very Vanilla. I stamped my own background paper for this card. It is nice having clear mount stamps. This set is called Artistic Etchings. With one of the larger clear blocks, I was able to put both stamps on the same block and stamp twice as fast. It was great!

Supplies Used:Ink: Real Red, Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
Ribbon: Black Satin, 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain
Accesories: Snail, Dimensionals

Clean and Simple

I am trying to use some things that I haven't used in a while...why I have I not used these fabulours products in a while?? Who Knows! The following cards are really simple and use a great stamp set that came in my starter kit a year ago that I really like. The trio of flowers is all one stamp and comes from the set Eastern Blooms. I like it because the flowers are different from other fake flower sets (which have lost of daisies and such) and it has a variety.

Clean and simple with an accent color....my fav! I did one in Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry. I am going to make a ton more since I just got some new ink pads in my birthday order! How convenient that it arrived on my birthday too right??
The sentiment is a Thank You from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and can be changed to any sentiment you want, birthday, anniversary, congrats, baby, and more. The card can be used for so much by changing out the colors and sentiment.

Sale-a-bration is still going on, but it ends this month! If you want your FREE stuff you better place your order, book your workshop, and sign up as a demo by the end of the month! Ask me for details ASAP!!
