Beyond the Garden DSP Class

So...now that you have seen the sneak peek at the new Beyond the Garden DSP from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog... you want to do a class with it right?!? I thought so, because the papers are just that awesome!

With the DSP class your registration of $15 gets you a seat in the class, a FULL pack of Beyond the Garden DSP of your very own, and my expertise in making some awesome cards with your paper....all while using my supplies and meeting some cute other people.
I haven't made the offical flyer for the class yet, but I finishe the samples last night and I really like them...so I am showing them off now!

This is a steal of deal people. The class is going to be May 12th at 7:00pm, at my house of course. I need your RSVPs by May 7th so that I can have the right amount of paper ordered and ready to go for class.

Happy Stamping!

ps... I have to mention that the first card in the post is one that I took from another demonstrator with some slight modifications (it was too cute not to copy).

Thailand Summer Mini Sneak Peak Album

Some might know, and some might not, but I had the best adventure/vacation with my mother in Thailand back in March and I have been wanting to scrapbook some of those memories for both of us to keep. It was the first time I got a STAMP in my passport!! WOO HOO! My mom thought I was crazy about a single stamp, but she has tons....and I wanted one!

The trip was amazing and the colors in that country are amazing. When I got back from Thailand I had the new Summer Mini in my mailbox waiting for me. As usual, I dove right in and started making a wish list. Then I turned the page and Wha La! I found the paper and stamps for the perfect Thailand Scrapbook. Awesome!!!

So here is you sneak peak at some upcoming products in the new Summer Mini which goes live on May 1st. That means the cute Occasions Mini ENDS the 30th of April! Hurry and get any orders in that you want before it all goes away.

Each page of the scrapbook is meant to hold two horizontal pictures or 1 vertical picture. I haven't decided which pictures to print yet, so there is still some final embellishment and journaling to be done once I figure out which of the 400 pictures I took will make it into the book.

And also keep in mind...that this is just the start of the book. I just love the new paper and stamp set to match though. The paper is called Beyond the Garden and the stamp set is Fabulous Florets. I also spy a new embossing folder and some awesome punches in there too. ;)

Happy Scrapbooking!

Martha

PS... Don't forget that the Spring is Blossoming Promo ends in just a few short days. You need to get your orders placed by Saturday night to be able to purchase the new paper and stamps from the July catalog early.

Build a Blossom Class April 28th

Don't forget to sign up for the Build a Blossom class! The flyer says it all, but I might repeat myself. :) You need to sign up with me by April 23rd...that is NEXT Saturday. I need that few days to get your stamps and punches ordered and here for class and to prep the card stock. Its all for you guys!

There are a couple options. You can choose Wood Mount or Clear Mount (because you take your stamps home with you...yes, they are yours!) as with any class that I do. BUT...the best option is that you can add the matching Blossom Petals Punch to your registration fee for 20% the price! That would only be $14 more to get a great Stampin' Up Exclusive punch to match your stamp set. Plus, I have tons of ideas for you to use the punch without the stamps and vice versa.

Register with me today for the class!

Name Change

I just wanted to let you all know that, as of TODAY the name of my online store has changed. You can now access my online store via this URL:

http://marthastamps.stampinup.net/

The reason that I did this was that the old name was causing some confusion in finding my website. People were putting a G on the end of stampin in the stampinmartha portion. I can't have that now can I?

I picked the name stampinmartha when I first signed up and I didn't really think about it. My blog address will stay the same, but you might notice some changes here and there in the design in the next little bit.

So, lesson learned: Choose a website address that is easy to remember and no one will misspell. :) Thank you!!

Happy Stamping and Easy Ordering!

Spring Is Blossoming Promotion

So here is the skinny on the Spring is Blossoming Promotion that is going on the month of April. If you purchase $20 worth of product from me...doesn't matter what it is... you are eligible to order, and get in your hands now, the Paisley Petals DSP and/or the Four Frames stamp set from the upcoming "big" catalog that doesn't come out until July!

Or even better...if you host a workshop/party that totals $350 or more you get BOTH of them for FREE! You just have to let me know what date works best for you and we can make any type of projects at your workshop that you like.

The paper is beautiful and the stamp set is to die for! It matches the Decorative Label Punch that has become a favorite of mine.

Elegant Soiree Group

I have a ton of this DSP leftover from a class I did a few months ago. I love the colors in the paper. They are nuetral and go well for both masculine and femine looks. I decided that I needed to try and use more of it up. So all the cards I made this weekend are from the Elegant Soiree DSP. I made a couple of each design and seriously...after this and the class that I did, I still have half a pack of DSP left! Does it ever end???

I am one of those people that though purchasing a pack of specialty paper like this was a waste because of the cost versus the amount, but I was SOOO WRONG! The paper goes a very, VERY long way. It was well worth the money I paid for it and I love that it coordinates with all the Stampin' Up! colors...so there is no mess trying to find paper to match it at a local store. This has to be my absolutely favorite thing about Stampin' Up! It is always a no hassle card making session because I know the colors go together and then I have cardstock, ribbon, and embellishments to match as well. It doesn't get better than that!

I hope you enjoy the cards I made this weekend using the Elegant Soiree DSP. You can purchase it in my store and remember that if you spend $20 you are eligible to purchase the Paisley Petals DSP and the Four Frames stamp set sneak peaks from the new catalog that comes out in July! That is 3 months early!!

Happy Stamping!

A Slice of Life

I think this hostess set from the Occasions Mini is super cute. It might seem like a bunch of random stamps, but they are beautiful! It really is a slice of everything you might need to send a card for. I used the beautiful flower and vase stamp to make this card. I didn't stamp a sentiment on it since it could be used for a variety of things and I don't have anything in particular right this second I needed it for. I just really liked it. I might also mention that I LOVE the seam binding that we carry. I waited so long to get it since I didn't know quite what it was....I would buy that over ANY other ribbon in the collection right now. I am really hoping that it makes the new catalog in July because I got a peek at the new Summer Mini and it is NOT in there! Fingers crossed that it is in the main catalog for the new year. I can't live without that stuff now! It is so easy to work with and doesn't create a lot of bulk when mailing...gotta save that extra $0.20 somewhere right? It comes in a variety of colors and I am in heaven. :) You can get hostess set featured here by placing an order of $150 or hosting a workshop that is over $150...plus you get other benefits on top of the cute stamp set.
Happy Stamping!

Build a Cupcake Birthday

I made a few birthday cards yesterday for my sisters that have birthdays this month. I have to admit that I didn't come up with the layout or the general idea. I "stole" it from Becky Roberts, who admits that she got it from another demo. I just thought it was clean, simple, and super cute. The scallop square is the larger of the squares in the Scallop Square Duo Die. The cupcake of course if made with the Build a Cupcake Punch...who can live without that thing!?! Items used: Stamps: Something to Celebrate Cardstock: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Brights DSP Stack Ink: Melon Mambo Accessories: Pearls, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Build a Cupcake Punch, Big Shot, Scallop Square Duo Die, and snail Don't forget the Spring is Blossoming Promotion that is going on right now. You can get your hands on great products from the new catalog 3 months early! Ask me how. I will post more later about it too.
Happy Stamping!
