I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't posted in a few days because I am in sunny California. We have enjoyed a few days at Disneyland and now we are relaxing with family. I just wanted to give you a quick post on the retired accessories, tools, definitely decorative, and simply adorned lists.

Online Catalog and Retired List

I posted the retired list in PDF format the other day. I know some of you don't have catalogs to cross reference that list to. So today I am posting a link to the online catalog (its a flash version, sorry mac users...go to my website to search each stamp set by name). This way if you are curious as to what the stamps look like, you can just flip to the page number and check it out. Yes, I know there is already an online version on the left sidebar, but sometimes we just need to be reminded its there. :)

Then once you find the stamps that you want, you can head over to my website and place an online order. Don't forget to check the clearance rack before you completely your order.

Happy Dirt Day!

I promised more boys cards for you. This is your next installment. :) I am loving this stamp set, and it is going to be around for another year! WOO HOO!

This is a great boy card. I meant it to be a birthday card, but you could use it as anything with a happy occasion. It uses the new Summer Smooches DSP and the I Dig You stamp set.

Don't forget that you can use your markers to color on stamps to make them multicolored. I used the Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso markers for this one. Just make sure that once you are done coloring the stamp that you blow a little hot air on the rubber before you put it down to stamp. You know what I mean, just huff some hot air on there first.

The Summer Smooches Suite is on a sneak peek special right now. It is going to be in the new catalog that comes out June 1st. But, you can order the suite right now during the month of April. This cute paper, along with brads, a stencil, ribbon, a stamp set, fabric, and the new purse die are all available right now. But, there is only 2 weeks left in the ordering time. Then you have to wait until after the new catalog comes out.

All supplies used can be ordered off my website for the best deal possible.

Supplies Used:
  • Stamps: I Dig You! (#122722 Clear, #122720 Wood)
  • Ink: Daffodil Delight Marker (#119677), Early Espresso Marker, (#119680), Tangerine Tango (#111834)

Button Buddies Blossoms

The Button Buddies stamp set is so versatile. It of course is designed to embellish with buttons, but it looks great without them too! Since I scored some brights buttons for free durign Sale-a-bration, it was the perfect opportunity to use a cute one on this card.

The card is simple and classic...and thats what I love about it. I only used one button for all four flowers. See! You don't have to use a button on everything to make it look awesome.

I stamped the flower in fun, bright colors on a peice of cardstock and then popped that with dimensionals on the Whisper White card base. Even though they are the same color, it just seems to make it look more elegant. A peice of White Baker's Twine tops off my button and then I adhered the button with a glue dot.

All supplies can be purchased on my website for the best deal possible.

Also, don't forget that tomorrow (Sunday 4/15/12) is when the retiring stamp list posts. I will post it on the blog tomorrow. This will be your last chance to purchase any stamp sets that are on the list. The new catalog is coming out a month early this year, so all the stamps on the list will be gone for good as of 6/1/12. The retiring accessories and tools list doesn't come out until the 25th of this month.

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps: Button Buddies (#122737 Clear, #122735 Wood), Friendly Phrases (#126151 Clear, #126149 Wood)
  • Ink: Real Red (#103133), Daffodil Delight (#119667), Pumpkin Pie (#105216)
  • Paper: Whisper White (#100730)
  • Embellishments: Brights Buttons (#119747), White Baker's Twine (#124262)
  • Tools: Dimensionals (#104430), Glue Dots (#103683)

I Dig You!

This sweet little guy was created using the the I Dig You! Stamp set and the new Summer Smooches DSP. I know it is tough to create a card for a boy sometimes. I ave a few I will show you over the next week. I really like this truck set since it works well for different occasions and is definitely the perfect boy set.

I used my markers to color right on the stamp for the truck. It is super easy to get different colors in a single stamping that way. I also used markers for the present...which is a whole different stamp. Want to know how I got them on there so perfectly?? I stamped the truck first and then gave it a few seconds to dry. I then placed a post-it note right on the top edge of the dump truck bed and then stamped the present over the top making them overlap the post-it ever so slightly. Then you just pull up the post-it and Ta-Da! perfectly placed presents.

All supplies used are available for purchase on my online store:

The Summer Smooches DSP that I used is a SNEAK PEEK at the new catalog. It is also on a special right now where you can purchase the paper and all the accessories to match in the product suite now. Yes, thats right... you do not have to wait until the new catalog comes out for this. It is only available for sneak peek preordering this month. Then you will have to wait again until the new catalog comes out to get it.

Supplies Used:
  • Stamps: I Dig You (#122722 Clear, #122720 Wood)
  • Ink: Tangerine Tango Marker (#120974), Island Indigo Marker (#123002), Daffodil Delight Marker (#119677), Chocolate Chip Marker (#100071), Lucky Limeade Marker (#123002)
  • Paper: Daffodil Delight Textured Cardstock (#121077), Tangerine Tango (#111349), Summer Smooches DSP (#125409), Whipser White (#100730)

Final Just Add Cake

This is the last one in this series, but that doesn't mean I won't use this same paper anymore. Have you ever started a card with an idea of what it should look like and then it magically morphs into something else? This is one of those cards. Whew! It was a struggle, but I think it finally turned out.

The card uses the Just Add Cake DSP and a few loved stamp sets of mine that don't get enough use. That cute polka dot strip comes from the stamp set Borderlines. I have loved it since the day the new catalog came out last year. I finally purchased it and I NEED to use it more often. There are 3 stamps in the set and they are all cute border stamps...that doesn't mean they are only for borders though. ;)

The cute little scalloped dot strips on the bottom of the Happy Birthday are from the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. I punched a strip and then cut the strip in half and layered them using SNAIL.

All Supplies can be found and purchased at my online store.

There are 55 new items that were just added to the clearance rack this morning, so don't forget to check those out!

Pennant Birthday

Sorry for the lag in blogging...I really am trying to keep it all together. Ha ha!
The card you see today is another cute one from the Just Add Cake series I did for a birthday card class I hosted last night. This one uses the Pennant Punch and the Party This Way stamp set.
I know it looks like my pennants are strung on string, but they aren't. Save the baker's twine and just tie a couple cute little bows and glue dot them on the ends. And, it helps to give some depth by popping the pennants up with some dimensionals.
You can purchase all supplies at my online store
Supplies Used:
  • Stamps: Party This Way (#120609 clear, #118744 wood)
  • Ink: So Saffron (#105213), Wild Wasabi (#109014), Poppy Parade (#119782)
