Fabulous Florets Stamp Class

Just wanted to let you all know again about the Fabulous Florets Stamp Class that I will be doing on May 25th...that is a Wednesday this time. We will meet at my house on Wednesday night at 7pm for a fun filled evening creating cute cards. The registration is $22 for Clear Mount or $28 for Wood Mount. I need to know what you want since you get to take it home with you at the end of the night.
This class is wonderful because you take home the Fabulous Florets stamp set at the end of the night along with your 5 cards. We will be making the cards in this post. I know, there are only 4 there...but there will be a 5th. Register for class and come check it out! :)
You need to RSVP with me by May 22nd. I need to get the order in so that all our stamps will be here for class wednesday night. Call me, email, me, or whatever way you want to get ahold of me...register this by this Sunday!

The stamp set matches perfectly with the Beyond the Gard DSP in the Summer Mini Catalog. Don't forget to check out the great stuff in there. This is also the stamp set that I used to create my Thailand scrapbook. Notice from the samples that you don't have to do them in bright colors...the set looks great in all colors of the spectrum.

Happy Stamping!

Martha

PS... thanks to some fellow deomonstrators for the great ideas on some of the cards. I can't claim the idea as my own on a few, but I did make the ones shown.

Another Sneak Peek

I am attending a gathering for our extended team this Saturday and we are all doing a card swap. We had to use a set from one of the new catalogs (2011 Occassions Mini or Saleabration). I chose a set from Saleabration that I just love. The minute I saw it I had to have it. The possibilities are endless and I love how my swap card came out. I just hope the rest of the team enjoys it as much as I do.
If you want a new Occassions Mini Catalog or a Saleabration Catalog, just let me know. I can get one to you in a jiffy! You won't want to miss it because they are great! Don't forget to check out the January classes this month. Let me know if you are interested in attending one.

January 5th: Jolly Holiday Scrapbook Class. Come scrap all your holiday photos

January 12th: Filled With Love Stamp Class $20 to make 4/5 cards and take a set of stamps home too!
January 19th: Love Impressions Scrapbook Class

January 26th: Valentine Defined Stamp Class $20 to make 4/5 cards and take a set of stamp home.

Happy Stamping!

December Classes

I just wanted to let you all know that there are 2 more classes before Christmas if you want to have fun and create.
December 8th, Wednesday, at 7:30 we are doing Jolly Holiday DSP cards. Come and create several cards using the Jolly Holiday DSP from the big catalog. I provide all the ideas, embellishments, adhesive, and extras. Cost is $15 and that includes getting to take home the entire stack of paper that is leftover. If you have ever been to one of these classes you know...there is tons leftover to do more at home.

December 15th, Wednesday, at 7:30pm we are creating tags to attach to those neighborhood christmas gifts you need to pass out. We will be using the 2 Tags Die and making 12 different tags that will spice up any gift. Cost is $8 and that covers all supplies.

If you have any questions about the December classes you just need to ask. If you can't make it to the class on Wednesday night we can do a kit in the mail, or a kit to go. There is always the option to make a date for us to get together at my place and do them together as well.

Happy Stamping!

Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set Class

I want to get the official word out about this awesome Christmas Stamp Class. We will be using the Tags Til Christmas stamp set from the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. Come and make a handful of tags for christmas gifts with no cutting involved (every stamp matches a punch!). Then you get to take the stamps home with you so you can make more any time you want.

Cost of the class is $25 if you want just the stamps....BUT.... Stampin' Up! has an amazing deal going right now that allows me to offer the stamps and a coordinating punch for the class for only $35! The holiday bundles are a great deal and it lets me pass on the savings to you for this class. You can pick from the ornament punch or the decorative label punch in the bundle. When you sign up you need to let me know if you want the bundle discount and which punch you would like.

I will provide all of the punches, paper, ink, and adhesive for the class and you just have to sign up and come. Then you get to take tags, stamps, and even a punch home with you! WOO HOO!!

I will be running my own special that evening or for your prepay on your stamps. If you order ANY punch (doesn't have to match the set) on top of your registration or place an order the night of class you will recieve 10% off the punch. Thats right folks...10% OFF ANY PUNCH that night or with your registration. I am a punch-aholic, so this is a big deal for me.

Class will be Wednesday, the 17th, at 7:30 pm. This class goes really fast since all the cutting is done with easy peasy punches. If you can't make it to class that night, let me know and we can do a kit to go or arrange a time for you to come and do it. I need you to register with me by Saturday, the 13th.

Happy Punching!

Day of Gratitude Stamp Class

This post is slightly late, the class is this week. But I thought I would show you have versatile this stamp set is. Day of Gratitude is in the current Holiday Mini Catalog and is the quintessential fall stamp set....but....it is so much more!

I did some fall cards for the class, but then made a few samples of other types of cards that could be done with this set that aren't necessarily fall oriented. I am in love with the one done in Marina Mist. It is so elegant, and with a switch of the sentiment on it you could use it for just about anything.
The class is $22 and includes a clear mount Day of Gratitude stamp set. We will be making these 4 cards and one more. There is still time to order your stamp set and we can set up a date to get together to assemble them. You just need to let me know by Saturday the 23rd.

Happy Stamping!

Having some Fun

About once a week the family sits around the TV and watches something "together" in the evening. Dillan scoots around on the floor with cars or trains, Jeremy enjoys the show or the Wii as it sometimes is, and I enjoy just being with my boys and making stuff at the coffee table. Even though we aren't doing the same things it is just nice to be in the same room and enjoying time doing what we love with others around.
These are a couple of cards that I made this past week doing just what I described above. Dillan made his own train track out of the wooden trains, Jeremy played old school metroid on the Wii, and I made cards. We chatted, rearranged the tracks, and made fun of Daddy when he lost a life in his silly game.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I like making them. There is something relaxing about just sitting down and creating something. If you want to join in my relaxation technique...call me, I always love visitors.

Happy Stamping!

They both use Greenhouse Gala DSP (I am still on my first pack after doing loads of cards and projects). The first uses the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set and the second uses the Friends Never Fade Stamp Set. Order online 24/7.

Join a class!

I put up some flyers around town to advertise my Wednesday night classes. I am hoping that it will generate some more business for me....duh. I just want everyone to enjoy what I love so much that how could I not want to share it?

This gives you one night out a month, a week, or every 2 weeks...you decide...to do something that you enjoy and be able to share some joy with others when you give your projects away (at least I give mine away, you can keeps yours if you want :) ).

I also do custom invitations for weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and more. Custom Christmas Cards are in right now....I would be glad to do them for you and all you have to do is sign them, or you can come to my Christmas Card Class and learn to make them yourself. Either way...your friends will be jealous at how cute they are! Since we are getting to the season, I also do custom christmas tags and gift tags. I like the presents under my tree in uniform colors and this makes it possible to add tags to the gifts to match too. Plus you always need tags for those neighbor gifts. I have some great ideas for those!

Call me or send me an email to let me know what class you want to come to. Can't wait for you to join in the fun!

Happy Stamping!
